The announcements below represent RFPs available with City of Philadelphia social service and housing departments or with other agencies or projects associated with the City of Philadelphia.

Each RFP will provide directions on how to apply, including any forms you may have to complete.  In certain cases, if your proposal is selected for the award, you or the organization you represent may have to complete disclosure forms pursuant to Chapter 17-1400 of The Philadelphia Code.  The contracting department or agency will notify you when and how to disclose.

The Application Deadline is no later than 12:00 o'clock Noon, Monday, January 5, 2009. Late or incomplete proposals will not be accepted. Non profit organizations that are currently funded by AACO for eligible service catetories with satisfactory past performance, or new organizations that serve a significant number of HIV clients and have providers with demonstrated HIV expertise in the service category being proposed by the applicant organization are eligible.

  • Philadelphia Housing Development Corp. (PHDC) - is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified professional firm(s) to provide Tax Advisory Services. The expected services will include compliance reviews of federal and state tax requirements for Local Development Corporations (LDCs) created by PHDC and representation of PHDC and LDCs in dealings and negotiations with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania regarding noncompliance with established tax requirement services.

  • The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD)
    The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) is requesting a quote to develop a work flow application in partnership with the Redevelopment Authority (RDA). This project is to build a web-based system that allows staff in the Housing Unit of the RDA to speed up the Philadelphia Home Improvement Loan program (PHIL) processes, enhances customer service and providing detailed tracking and reporting features.

  • Global Philadelphia
    In the summer of 2003, the Managing Director's Office (MDO) launched "Global Philadelphia" to unify the City's efforts to strengthen the relationship between diverse linguistic communities and the City by improving Philadelphia's language accessibility.  Consistent with the MDO's mission, Global Philadelphia's primary focus is the building of sustainable infrastructure within and across departments to ensure meaningful access to City services for all Philadelphians, including individuals with limited English proficiency.  To that end, the MDO is issuing this Request for Proposals for the provision and management of three distinct categories of services: (1) document translation, (2) in-person interpretation, and (3) telephonic interpretation.  An Applicant may submit up to three proposals, one for each category.
